Education against Tobacco won ‘startsocial’ national award
On June 3, 2014 founder Titus Brinker and supervisor Tobias Stark (photo, left to right) were Angela Merkel’s guests at the Office of the Federal Chancellor for the ‘startsocial’ competition, representing all participants as they accepted a national award. We are very pleased to have been honored by the Chancellor.
The national award, which includes prize money of 5000 Euro and presented by the Chancellor, is the biggest prize we’ve received so far. In a commendatory speech by ProSiebenSat1 Chairman Conrad Albert, the enormously broad impact of our project, the long-term organization and the innovative working method were explicitly praised.
The prize is a collective achievement, about which everyone working with EAT should be proud. Many thanks to everyone involved!
