Who we are.

Tobacco is the largest cause of preventable death in the Western world. Education Against Tobacco (EAT) is a multinational network driven by medical students and physicians of more than 40 medical schools located in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Sudan, Bangladesh, Pakistan and the US. Founded in 2012, our mission is to support informed-decision-making of 10-16 year old adolescents by the help of school-based prevention, to educate the public by app-based campaigns and to improve smoking cessation counseling by influencing medical education. Harvard faculty including the NEJM Editor-in-Chief validate the quality of our interventions and facilitate the local implementation of the EAT program.
